{Media Ministry – Welcome to Church 2.0!}
We are a new ministry in church that is focused on the various electronic media channels available to PJEFC.
About us
Currently, our core charter and responsibility covers the following four areas:
- Photography
- Video & Movie making
- www.pjefc.org (our church website) – articles, writing, editing
- PJEFC Facebook & Twitter activity
Eventually, we will be also responsible for maintaining an archive of all our media assets (photos, video, audio, etc) in our Church office.
Our objectives
A team of able volunteers to record not just the key events but also the daily story of each ministry in church.
Recruitment!
As we are new, the focus right now is on three areas that individuals can easily contribute. The requirements for each area is listed below and if you’re interested, do drop me an email.
Photography
A point and shoot camera or better. You MUST own your camera. No loaners, no borrowing from friends, relatives, parents, siblings, spouse. This is the “sacrifice” you need to serve. Training will be provided.
Website
We’re looking for two types of people: Editors and Authors. All you need is a good command of the English language and be able to write concisely. Training will be provided for you to add and edit content on our website.
Social Media
This is a new area and definitely a hot area. Manage our Twitter and Facebook pages! Lots of responsibility here but the key to social media is the ability to share, be concise, be accurate and be timely.
