We recognize that biblical and theological foundations are crucial if Christians are to grow to maturity in Christ. Further more, the knowledge acquired must find expression in transformed lives and Christian service. Hence, the ABS programme is structured upon the following premises:

- Christian Thought: Understanding our beliefs and heritage
- Christian Formation: Applying faith to life and growth
- Christian Ministry: Applying faith to service
