The CUG is a fellowship for young people who are studying at colleges or universities, whether locally or overseas. It is a place where they gather to build friendship, and for worship, prayer, Bible studies and fun.
College and university students are in the transition stage of their lives where they have many questions about life, and face challenges including peer pressure to conform to worldly values, the pressure to graduate well, and the choices they have to make after graduation. They also have lots of potential that needs to be developed.
In CUG we seek to provide the students with the necessary Biblical foundation to handle issues in life, to help them discover and develop their giftings and talents, to equip and train them for ministries and spiritual multiplication, and to provide opportunities for establishing wholesome relationships. Our emphasis is on helping the students to be disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. And to that end, we provide pastoral care, and programmes that focus on the five purposes of Worship, Fellowship, Ministry, Missions and Prayer.
We meet on Fridays, 8.00 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. at the Youth Chapel at PJEFC. For more information, please contact the pastor-in-charge, Pastor Chin Choon Meow (012-3180307).
