Life is far from perfect. We are constantly confronted with many of life’s problems and issues, suffering and pain, that may affect our spirit, soul or body. Many of us function and live without understanding the realities of our personal and spiritual struggles. Our lives from cradle to the grave are thwarted with wrong values, ungodly aspirations, sinful desires, and damaging and unwise choices.
The Bible tells us that God is a Healer. He who is the Creator of all things certainly knows how all problems can be resolved and healed.
We need a safe place to help us weather the storms of life, and this safe place is PJEFC’s Shalem Ministry, the healing and deliverance ministry that is built on the foundation of God’s love and forgiveness, where:
- You are free to share and express his or her emotions
- You are able to trust others and is assured of total confidentiality
- You can receive God’s unconditional love through prayer counseling
It is our desire to be God’s facilitators to bring “Wholeness in Christ” to all who are in need. 3 John 2 – “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers”.
We minister this “Wholeness in Christ” through the teaching of God’s Word and by providing prayer counseling, discipleship and support guided by our philosophy that::
- Journeying towards wholeness is the redemptive work of Christ
- Bringing wholeness is a partnership with Christ
- Experiencing wholeness is a life process of Discipleship in Christ
- Restoring Wholeness in Christ needs to include spiritual, mental, emotional and physical healing.
We are constantly providing training and development of skills and knowledge for all our ministry facilitators in the team as well as to those who have an interest in the ministry.
