What is a Cell Group?

It is a gathering of believers of PJEFC in different localities that expresses the body life of the church to impact the local community.

Why does it exist?

It seeks to nurture, equip and mobilize believers to lead purpose-driven lives for the overall ministry and growth of the church and its mission to the community.

What is The Cell Group’s Agenda?

Its agenda is to obey the Great Commandment which is to love God and to love others (Mt 22:36-40), and to fulfill the Great Commission to reach out to the world (Mt 28:19-20).

Therefore, cell members are committed to pursuing the following 5 purposes that promote
spiritual and life transformation.

  1. Membership - Help people to Christ & to the fellowship of our church family.
  2. Maturity - Help people grow in Christ-likeness.
  3. Ministry - Help people find the place of service that best uses their SHAPE.
  4. Mission - Help people reach their unsaved friends & coworkers for Christ.
  5. Magnification - Help people glorify God through worship.

When and where do Cell Groups meet?

Most Cell Groups meet on Friday Nights from 8.30pm - 10.30pm in various homes located all over Klang Valley.

Exceptions:

  • Section 13 Cell Group meets on Thursday Morning 10.30am - 12.30pm in PJEFC.
  • Taman SEA (III) meets on Thursday Night, 8.30pm - 10.30pm.
  • Bandar Utama (I) meets on Sunday Evening, 4.00 - 6.30pm.
  • Bangsar meets fortnightly on Monday Night, 8.00 - 10.00pm

Why should I join a Cell Group?

  1. You will understand the Bible better in a small group.
  2. You will really feel like being part of God’s family.
  3. You will experience prayer becoming more meaningful to you.
  4. You will be able to handle stress and pressure better.
  5. You will have a natural way to share Christ with friends, relatives, and work associates.
  6. You will develop leadership skills you never knew you had.
  7. You will deepen your understanding of worship.
  8. You will be a New Testament Christian growing in favor with God and with men.  

How can I join a Cell Group?
