Communications + Media Ministry
We are a new ministry in church that is focused on the various electronic media channels available to PJEFC.
Currently, our core charter and responsibility covers the following areas:
- Instagram account
- Video & Movie making
- Overall Church Branding, ID and communications
Eventually, we will be also responsible for maintaining an archive of all our media assets (photos, video, audio, etc) in our Church office.
A team of able volunteers to record not just the key events but also the daily story of each ministry in church.
As we are new, the focus right now is on three areas that individuals can easily contribute. The requirements for each area is listed below and if you’re interested, do contact us or see below.
You SHOULD own your camera. Depending on your experience level, you may be paired up with other volunteers who you may need to mentor or to guide you. Basic training will be provided and equipment loaners may be arranged for specific circumstances.
A point and shoot camera or better with basic understanding of camera operations. Able to download or copy photos from camera to hard disk & USB drive.
Do you spend more time on social media than offline? Speak in hashtags? Well, we’re looking for a few volunteers to handle the various social media channels we own. Facebook is PJEFC’s primary social media channel. Twitter and Instagram are next. We do have a Youtube channel and G+ page. Currently, our needs are volunteers for Instagram and Twitter.
Laptop, tablet or smart phone.
Love to write? We’d like you to edit and write new articles for the PJEFC website. You may also be asked to write or edit copy for promotional events, posters, publicity and PR material.
Good command of English.
Posting, Editing and content management of PJEFC’s website. Uploading of sermons and articles.
Familiar with HTML. Good understanding of how the web works, browsers and platforms. WordPress familiarity helps.
