STEP UP 2014

2014-01 - Stepup

The STEP UP programme is run annually by PJEFC. It is meant for Christians who have just completed their SPM or STPM examinations, or who are on college or university holidays, and would like to set aside some time to grow in their relationship with God, study His Word, and be equipped for effective service.

After each module, the participants may apply for an internship with PJEFC (for PJEFC youth) where further nurturing for spiritual growth and training for ministry will be provided.

  • to instruct the mind with God’s truth for a renewed mind
  • to equip for Christian service for effective

SYLLABUS

The courses are geared toward developing the spirit, heart, mind, and skills of the participants, so that they become more committed disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. The focus of the development will be based on the five purposes of Spiritual Maturity, Worship, Fellowship, Ministry, and Outreach as laid down in Acts 2:42-47.

There will be practicals involving the following:
Outreach - Outdoor trips to do evangelism and social welfare ministry.
Fellowship & Ministry - Cultivate team work through team building games.
Worship -Fast & pray session; and involvement in the Worship service for one Sunday at an EFC through worship leading, sharing,
and drama. (Purpose: To provide opportunity on what it means to serve in the main service)
