Passage: Matthew 14:22-31
Service Type:

When we read from Mathew 14: 22-31, we see a supernatural miracle taking place. Something that defies every law of science in the physical world. Jesus walks on water. We also find Peter, one of the twelve disciples, asking Jesus to allow him to walk on water as well. Jesus commands Peter to come out of the boat and walk on the water. Peter walks on water but as soon as Peter turns his eyes from Jesus and saw the depth of water, he started to doubt and he began to sink. Then Peter Cries out to Jesus, Save me! And immediately, Jesus stretched out His hand to save him.

When we go through difficult life circumstances, we also wish for a miracle. But to receive such a miracle, we need to be willing to look to Jesus. We must be willing to step out of our boat when Jesus commands us too. Therefore, brothers and sisters, let’s take this opportunity to look to Jesus and listen to God’s word as preached by Ps Melissa Chan.
