Old Testament Nasi Lemak

When you think of nasi lemak, what comes to mind but aromatic, fluffy, delicious coconut rice accompanied with a little bit of this and that to make a wonderfully, scrumptious meal. This ‘nasi lemak‘ seminar will take us into the Old Testament to discover interesting topics of ‘this and that’ as we explore, specifically, prophetic literature.

  • Were the Hebrews God’s favourite? (Amos)
  • What good is repentance, anyway? (Joel)
  • Can the Bible be funny? (Jonah)
  • Was Jesus the Messiah? (Isaiah)
  • Were the prophets crazy? (Ezekiel)
  • Is there prophecy in the New Testament? (Revelation)

Woven in throughout all those things will, of course, be the question of how to read the prophets and what to do with them. Come join us for a good ‘meal’!
