WHAT DOES THIS SERIES INVOLVE?
This series consists of several interactive sessions on various mental health issues. Participants will meet once a month throughout the year.
All sessions are held on Sundays 11.15-12.450pm. The topics to be covered and the brief summary of each topic can be found below:
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS SERIES?
This series aims to provide a safe space to talk about mental health and its various challenges.
WHAT IS THE AIM OF THIS SERIES?
The main goal of these sessions is to develop an informed and supportive community, the “stretcher-bearers”, who can encourage those with mental health challenges to live well in Christ despite challenging circumstances.
WHO IS THIS SERIES FOR?
This series is open to all regardless of faith. It caters for:
1) anyone with an interest in mental health
2) carers of someone with mental ill-health
3) interested in learning how to support individuals experiencing mental ill-health
WHEN WILL THIS SERIES COMMENCE?
The first session will take place on 17 Feb 2019. The title of this session is “Being a “Stretcher-Bearer”;: Role and Boundary Setting”.
